You may know me as Hupperware.  Turn-ons include sunny days, and steamy back nights.

In The Morning Austin;
My name is Noel from Ottawa, Ontario Canada. I got to the forum through the route of No Agenda, The No Agenda forums, hearing ''Who Cares'' with you on the show; saw your links for your own site; went there; listened to some of the podcasts; liked them, and now I am writing this.
I have been observing the ''No Agenda Forums'' 'feud' from a comfortable distance; and like a car crash, it is hard not to rubberneck. I do agree that John and Adam are going for the monetary aspect; but if people listen to the older shows; it has always been about the money.
 On the other hand; they do challenge people to not accept all that they are force fed; and think.
 I hope you keep up with your own podcasts. It is good to hear conversations about real life and not about the World Cup ( I never trust a game that doesn't let me touch the ball); and exotic Asian food. I am just not ready for a Global village. My own country doesn't even know how to be a united entity. lol
Be Well and Best Wishes Noel

Holy shit! Welcome to the forum real user cannman61! You are my new hero! Please, please let us know what you think about the show (though I just saw and went immediately to this post, so maybe you did?), and excuse the sounds of desperation in my typings... You are literally the winner of the first person to join the forums that I don't know! It's nice to hear you like to touch balls, and aren't ready for a global village, that idea is terrifying to me too! Congratulations and I hope you enjoy your stay!

Thanks for the praise Austin; not really deserved , but appreciated.
 Your podcast is great by the fact that it is just people shooting the shit; discussing what they observe in this crazy world and trying to get a handle on it.
I do not grouse on sound quality; I can hear everybody; and that's all that counts.
If you go on ''Who Cares??'' again; remember something. Senor is not a ''typical'' Canadian; he is from Toronto. Toronto is like New York ; it is part of a country, but it knows nothing about the rest of the country. Toronto tries, but NYC is still the Big Apple; rotten core or not.
Sorry about the rambling; but I dislike urbanity. It makes people forget how to be self-sufficient.
 If I find anything to criticize about your show; I will gently suggest, and not be scathing. I know that words can hurt; that is why I have to take meds to cope, just a little depression..nothing life ending.
Be Well and Best Wishes -Noel

Oh I'm in loads of trouble if you are gonna start talking about things we've said on the show "The tomato is a vegatable"... This is cool. I'll really do my best to not scare you off by getting flustered by having participants!

I'm assuming that you've read my posts to Senor about him suggesting that everyone should live in the city? Yeah, I don't take anything that anyone says too terribly seriously. It's the internet, so everything is goofy, and it's all in good debatey fun.

Damn, you've really made my day, man, thanks!
If you know anyone else that may like the show, turn 'em on. I'd love to hear from anyone! And you, not caring about sound quality are our key demographic. There are certainly some shows that are very near unlistenable, but oh well, at least it's real or something.

No worries on the sound . Some British podcasts that I listen to are barely understandable because some British scholars talk like their mouths are full of marbles. There are also podcasters that do ''drive by miking''; my term when they keep moving away from the mike. The nice thing is that you guys are mostly understandable; and  not screaming and ranting ( I may think differently when I listen to more of them lol). I tend to be a little sensitive about high pitched voices that screech a lot; or are annoyingly loud; it makes a person have to get to the volume continuously; which is a pain when you are playing Word Whomp on Pogo.
   You are doing fine with the podcasts; keep it real and natural. On the subject of No Agenda; Adam Curry really changed when he quit pot; the innocence was gone and the ''rose coloured glasses'' were off; just a thought; plus the divorce didn't help.
 I wish that I could think of subjects; but everything is so PC (politically correct) in this world; that I just get disgusted. To me, a PC is a computer. Podcasts are a big help since I never watch TV anymore; so listening to your shows is great during the day and whatever time I am listening to podcasts. I go from history podcasts to movie ones to......ad nauseum lol. Variety is the Spice of life; and I like spicy ;and I thank you for adding another ingredient to my Podcast stew of listening pleasure.
anything else, just let me know -Noel

Really though, thanks! I probably can't say it enough... If it's any help seeing the show notes ( http://aighead.com/presents ) may be the best way to determine if a show will be up your alley, depending on how you listen to podcasts (I typically go back and listen to everything) but some show notes miss out on shows that end up being especially funny or boring. I wish I could suggest some but it's like suggesting which of my kids I'd rather you stole. Well, not really.

If you end up listening to any you are especially fond of let me know because I may end up doing a best of aighead.com presents: at some point, but I'm not sure how to get in to it. An outside view would be delightful.

Also, at our next recording I'm going to do my best to announce your existance to the adcp world, but don't surprised if you don't hear it for a while, due to our relatively huge backlog of already recorded stuff. If you haven't heard the timeframe of things we have about 3-4 months of shows recorded ahead of time, so stuff you listen to now will be from Feb. or March (perhaps).

Really though thanks!

Hey Austin;
Still enjoying the discussions in the episodes. I always seem to start at eps. 30 for some reason; and go up; then get the first 30 episodes; it makes it interesting because the ''buggy'' shows get played last; and listening to the latest shows is a good test to see whether the first 30 shows are worth the download (I have a cap of 95 GBs up + down).
No need to trumpet my existence, but I appreciate the thought, nonetheless.
Adam Curry was on Buzz Out Loud; the latest episode; the question is : Will he ever be invited back??? lol
I am going to go over and look at the No Agenda forums and see how the leaky ship is doing. I am just about to start episode 35 of your show. The Earth is a forever changing thing; and the Climate will always Change.
Have a good one and Be Well Noel

Well, you are starting with the some of the roughest ones, sound quality wise. 30, 31 and the golf episodes were some of the worst, and 33 gets to about the standard sound quality, then somewhere it gets back to bad sound, then it gets back to ok. We are buggy throughout though and it's wishwashy to see which are good...

Uh, I've never listened to BOL, maybe I'll check it out, was he bad on there?
