While I can see a fabricated war with Iran, I can't see Hillary or Petraus being president, ever. I think we're almost logical to not have her crazy ass anywhere near power, and he seems so shilly that we may be smart enough for that too. I say next pres is going back to the republicans or hopefully an independant party. It's very close to time for an alternative to shine in American politics.

Hey Austin and all ships at sea;

Politics in America and most of the world is suspect now. The best example is the 2 Term President GW Bush. How a functionally retarded man can be President once is an astounding feat; but 2 terms; that boogles the common sense mind. It makes a person wonder who actually puts the politicians in their jobs; the people or the Bankers and Craporations.
Changing the subject.
 I know an animated site that shows free flash cartoons. The humour is very dark; the subjects are taboo at times; and down right offensive. My favourite titles;  Rats on Cocaine; Father Tucker, The Child F***er; and a cartoon about a Premi aborted baby. Very crass stuff; but they are a guilty pleasure. The link for the website is;
http://www.apocalypsecartoons.com/ . Some of the subjects in the Father Tucker cartoons made me shudder; but the cartoonists must be pissed off ex-catholics.
 I like the stuff in small doses; it is too dark to watch one after another. The good thing is ; if something really offends, kill the player and webpage. lol  Even I can be offended; and I have a pretty thick skin; and I have seen too many things in person and in Army classified videos to ever be innocent again. The world is a sick place; with twisted people; and all we have to protect us is knowing right from wrong; and choosing right and morally satisfying routes on the road of life.
Enough of the moralizing; the site is to be taken with a grain of salt; and viewer beware lol Grin Grin Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy

Lately; I have been keeping away from the main stream media ( those pesky networks, don't ya know; the gentlemen with the perfect teeth and peanut brains; not a real thought in  Keif Oebbermoron's little head). I have been looking at Free Talk Live; The Corbett Report (James , not Stephen); and Media Monarchy for news from all angles. No Agenda still works at times ( Curry predicted the World Cup winner); I blame some of that stuff I was saying about Hillary and Betrayus on those shows; and I am sticking to that excuse.
I am a little bit punchy; no sleep last night; but I also got the entire Van Halen Discography; The Tim Buckley Discography; and the first 6 John Carter from Mars audio Books( by Edgar Rice Burroughs) off of bit torrent. I had to convert the Van Halen Files from FLAC to mp3s; I set the kbps to 256; which is good enough for my screwed up ears; and good enough for government work.
  Now I am just waiting for the Black Helicopters to come and get me for my illegal downloading. If it is the Canadian version of a swat team; it will be two toothless mounties ; and a German Shepherd with Mange; flying in on a very snazzy glider. Grin Grin Grin
I am holding on to consciousness right now; but I can do 48 hrs. without sleep; but I would have to start dancing after 36 hrs.  I have been up for over 28 at this point; so I am good for at least 9 or 10 more before collapse happens; or Dancing White Bison are seen.

I don't get any kind of news, really ever. I don't watch the news and rarely go finding it. I mostly don't care and know better than to trust most.

Van Halen, uhg. I can't do it. I heard too much growing up and now it makes me nuts, but most music does that to me. I almost strictly listen to Jazz or Classical.

You should record your dancing, I imagine it'd be funny.

Have a good one dudely!

I have all the Jazz that was possible to get when Ken Burns was shilling it for PBS on his series ''Jazz''. PBS put out all kinds of collections of CDs, pertaining to the series. It was a big money grab by the ''National Treasure''. A lot of people put out bit torrents of the CDs; and I was able to ''Collect'' them.
  I am partial to Louis Armstrong and Bix Beiderbecke because the Coronet is a beautifully toned instrument; hearing ''Chimes Blues'' by King Oliver (featuring a coronet solo by Louis), is a joy.
   For vocals in Jazz ; I always liked Billie Holliday the most. I even found a track called ''Duelling Drums''; with Buddy Rich and Gene Krupa; fantastic percussion, and the fun is figuring out who is playing at any given time.
For Classical music; I love Bach's Organ pieces; the odd bits of opera (except Wagner).
Stephen Fry did a series on BBC Radio that was a very funny take on the history of Classical Music. It even had a recording of an English Medieval Song that was very popular in Chaucer's day; something about the summer, and birds going ''coo coo''. It is done like ''Row Row Row Your boat''; with voices overlapping ; and voices fading in and out; very pretty for the time.
  Collecting the Van Halen is part of my mildly obsessive bent; I have the compulsion to have all the recordings I had when I owned them on Vinyl. I collected all the Kiss Albums; and even Mike Oldfield's stuff lol. Most people can only handle ''Tubular Bells'' by Oldfield. I just marvel at the fact that Mike Oldfield made most of ''Bells'' by himself; just using two reel to reel recorders, and overdubbing everything. That album was Virgin Records' first release (1973); even the stock number was interesting for Tubular Bells; it was 2001.
So Richard Branson has been around the music biz for a while.
I was rambling again; but I just love music lol.

Is this ''Big Bang Theory'' supposed to be a good show? The musings of a producer or writer of a sitcom are bound to be along the lines of Star Trek: The Next Generation style of Geo-Political thought. It is usually fueled by too many hits on the bong; and then musing about the perfect Universe of Gene Roddenberry; with Holodecks, that can make safe sex; and safe fun within a sterile box of fluff.
   Case in point; The Twilight crap; with the non-throat slashing ''vampires''; who sparkle; and are a non threatening PC undead, who are not undead really. I liken them to genetic freaks with a blood fetish. That Stephanie Meyers style of vampire is meant to placate the parents; and have a vampire that is miles away from the animated corpses in the Anne Rice novels. Meyers' vamps are just real strong and thick skinned. Vampires?? In a Pig's Ass; and that's all Pork.....mmmmm Pork...mmm bacon... yumm.
I guess I rolled off the subject of ''The Big Bang Theory''; but after all; it is only just a theory, not a fact. Like Evolution; Darwin had good press and big friends in the upper class twit community. We all just have to roll with the punches; and roll over Henry.

I, sadly, know very little about the Jazz or Classical that I listen to. I used to have the time, patience and energy to know things about a couple musical artists I like, I'm/was partial to Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Hendrix, Beck, Beastie Boys, but nowadays I've lost all my knowledge and some of my desire to listen. Oh well, I guess.

I don't know that I've ever watched more than a couple minutes of BBT. The girl is kinda cute, but it's got some what appears to be phoniesh nerdisms and David from Roseanne, so... I think the writings just boil down to whatever nonsense a guy can come up with.

Hey Austin;
No worries on the studying part for Jazz and Classical stuff. I am just one of those annoying people that spit out info about things that are trivial in this insane world. Kind of like those experts that love to spit out stats about what percentage of people fart when they wake up; or what percentage of Pakistanis drown kittens for relaxation. It seems that are there a lot of those people around; and they always seem to show up on news shows; probably why I can't watch CNN; especially the drunk hit-and-run artist, Rick Sanchez.
I hope your day goes well and the world becomes a little clearer.

Really? I'da never guessed! Heh. I'm kinda jealous of that... I don't have a crazy amount of knowledge of anything. I used to know a lot about cars, and baseball, and rollercoasters... Not so much any more. I guess life beats you down like that sometimes.

Indeed it does Austin. I am of a mind to take advantage of my forced retirement; and suck in as much info, as my gray matter can handle; because I worry that the shitheads that be, are trying to make us more dumbed down and misinformed. I tell my kids to keep studying; and learn more.
   Even when I was fully immersed in the constant work experience; I was still reading things, doing crossword puzzles; and cryptograms; and I watched a lot of documentaries , as I still do.
    I took advantage of the wonderful library; with all it's free DVD lend outs; mostly the James Bond movies that I wouldn't buy ( The Roger Moore ones)  ; the PBS documentaries by Ken Burns and his brother Ric on Baseball, Jazz, The Civil War, New York City, Mark Twain, and Myriad others by them. I just used DVD Shrink to make backup DVDs of the originals from the library. I know it is horrible to advantage of the free stuff from the library; and then illegally make copies of them  ( DVD Shrink is a fantastic free program for making backups of Copyright protected movies; good for parents that have young kids; and want to preserve the health of their original DVDs that they shelled out serious money for ; especially the Disney Stuff) ; but the libraries are corporate tax write offs; and the DVDs that PBS sells to libraries and the public were financed by corporations. All the Ken Burns stuff is financed by GM; so I am sticking it to the corporations by copying them with an open source program ( DVD Shrink ) ; and enjoying and learning more.
You will have more time in future years for learning; and new things to learn are always happening. I just hope that it is a Brave New World more than a 1984 world. The elites would love us to just zip it and eat the GMO food, and smack our chops over it because of the great ad campaign . I love the internet because I can wipe out all the banner ads , if they annoy me; and mostly they do. The odd pre- roll is 100s of times better than the barrage of TV ads; that make me really ill.
 Canadian ads tend to zero towards the social wonderland, with perfect PC people in the ads. More than 4 people in the ad calls for a visible minority; or a handicapped person; to show diversity in the culture Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes. The odd seniors show up, but that is for all the old people drugs that the druggers want them to take and make Granny a legal junkie. I don't really care about blue pills and the like; I see enough of that crap in my spam folder.
I am griping; but my sleeping is crappy still; and the bear shows his head every morning  heh
 Coffee is not good for the kidneys and stomach; but water is always there; even though it is spiked with sodium flouride that is not needed, that's what toothpaste is for.
I am going towards conspiracy theories now; so I will close this longer and longer note... Be Free; if only in your mind.
